Rampike off of the Anvil Trail to Schoodic Head, Acadia National Park, August 2014
Ink and water soluble graphite, 5" x 8"

Several off-shoots of the Anvil Trail lead to precarious cliffs with views to the east. This path lead to a startling close encounter
with a bald eagle. The rampike, a favorite motif from my sessions on the Appalachian Trail, is yet again a fine subject.
